In Memory

Pamela Kane (Chamberlain)

Pamela Kane (Chamberlain)

Please be informed that our Prom Queen, Pamela (Kane) Chamberlain, suffered a severe stroke this past Mon (April 8, 2019) and died at Northside Hospital on Wednesday (April 10, 2019).  There is no plan for a funeral but we do expect to have one of our Bogie gatherings that will serve as a Celebration of Life for Pam.  The date has yet to be determined but should be fairly soon.  At present we expect the place to be the Bloom Senior Living facility where Pam was living.  Look for another announcement once the date has been determined.

I will always remember Pam as being the most friendly, warm and gentle person.  She was loved by everyone she met because she was truly nice.  She had no airs about her and she had a beautiful smile that warmed everyone she met.  This lovely lady will be truly missed.....

So sorry to hear of Pam’s passing.  I remember her as a terrific and classy young lady who treated everyone with respect.

I met Pam in 1957!  Loved her then and will always.  I can never think of her without seeing that beautiful smile and dimples.  She as one of those people everyone loved because of her friendliness and kind heart.  I pray she is with Chita now and they are both rejoicing!❤️

a very sad day. So much fun at school with her. The reunion over the years. Those were the good old days. May God be with her

A main star from the class of 63 leaves us with a lesson.  Her admirable strength of character from a BCHS celebrity to a lady who never allowed the Atlanta accident to diminish her or her love for all of us at Bogie.  My bet is that she is JItterbugging somewhere!  Maybe with Barry!  Thanks, you made us ALL stronger.

What a trooper that was dealt a bad hand.  The bravest of the brave who was always available on short notice to help any Bogie Classmate.

RIP Pam
Linda and I hope to attend the Celebration of Life.

As I read all of our classmates comments from Kenny Carroll, Tom Twitty, Janice Olds and the others I always thought about her accident in Atlanta and what a defining momemt that was in her life.  As Tom said she was dealt a bad hand yet what a remarkable amount of achievements she posted in life.  Of all the great ladies we had at school Pam had to stand out as our Queen.  She was tall, beautiful, our homecoming queen, kind, genuine, possessing no airs, just a gracious lady.  Rest in peace sister and meet me at the Gate!
