School Story

Remember when we did the school theatrical show? We were juniors. Mr. Baltz was the teacher in charge and he chose me to direct the thing. We had try outs and one girl, quiet, unassuming girl...got up and sang Won't You Come Home Bill Bailey and she was fabulous. Can't recall her name. She closed out our performance and we won the prize.

Daphne, yes, life is good. And you are living a good life. I have this vague vague recollection of running into you in Greenwich Village ... at a hardware store on Horatio Street... gotta be the early 1970ies.
Every time I look at the Bogie website, look at the biographies, I am struck by the useful, accomplished lives lived by the women who graduated from that school that year. At the time I was too ... involuted to appreciate the people around me, but gee whiz, many of us, we done good. Hope you are well. J
